Funding has been awarded to four University of Galway STEM projects.
The €240,000 is part of a national funding initiative to encourage emphasis and public engagement in Science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.
The projects ‘MathsMinds: Inspiring STEM futures’ and ‘Rooted: Building Connections to Nature in our Communities through Theatre’ will receive around €60,000 each.
UG’s ‘ReelLIFE SCIENCE Video Competition’ and ‘We Built This City on Rock and Coal’ are to be awarded €60,000 for each project.
