Gardaí seize €60,000 worth of cocaine in raid

Gardaí have arrested a woman following the seizure of around €60,000 in a raid on a house in the Newcastle area of Galway City this morning.
A search warrant was executed at the property at around 10am by the Divisional Drugs Unit and cocaine with an estimated street value of €60,000 was discovered.
A woman in her 40s and taken to Garda HQ in Renmore and she has since been released without charge. A file is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
