Claddagh Choral are delighted to present Christmas by Candlelight in the Town Hall Theatre this December – offering an enchanting evening of music set in the warm, intimate glow of candlelight.
Directed by Stephen Carroll and produced by Kate McBrearty, these concerts promise to be a magical experience that captures the spirit of the season.
The first of the concerts on December 1 – with a matinee at 2pm and an evening performance at 8pm – features the Voice of Galway, University of Galway Choral Society and Claddagh Chamber Choir. These talented ensembles will fill the air with festive melodies, from beloved Christmas carols to modern seasonal favourites, creating a joyful and uplifting atmosphere. The second concert on December 6, with a schools matinee at 12 noon and the evening show at 8pm, focuses on the captivating performances of the Claddagh Chamber Choir and Voice of Galway.
These choirs will take the audience on a musical journey through the sounds of the season, offering a mix of traditional and contemporary choral pieces that are sure to warm your heart. Whether you’re looking to kick off the holiday season with some festive cheer or simply wish to enjoy the beauty of choral music, Christmas by Candlelight is the perfect way to celebrate.
