Noreen O’Gara had pains in her head most of her life. She was diagnosed with Glaucoma and eventually lost her eyesight. She was seeing a specialist but they held out little hope of being able to see again.
After she saw a famous episode on the Late Late Show where patients of Michael O’Doherty and Tom Griffin spoke about being cured of all sorts of ailments after bio-energy, she persuaded her son Michael to take her to a clinic.
After four sessions four days in a row, she was pain free for the time in years. After three weeks she was treated by both therapists and slowly regained some sight.
“She didn’t get it back straight away. It took about a year to get it fully back but she was able to drive her car afterwards,” recalls Michael, who hails from Claremorris where Tom Griffin now has his clinic.
He was so impressed with the results that he decided to train in the practice under the pair, who travelled the country holding clinics. They had learned the practice in the former Yogoslavia from the founder Zdenko Domancic.
“Michael and Tom were into martial arts and so was I so I was aware of Chi [energy] in the body. I thought I’d like to have that knowledge.”
Tina Forkan from Kiltimagh was a secretary in the bio-energy clinic and she too decided to go for the training.
