One of Toyota’s most attractive cars and a firm favourite here in Ireland, the Toyota C-HR Hybrid Electric has a whole new look and is available to order now for delivery in January 2024. It arrives in showrooms this month and prices start from €40,520.
Demand is expected to be high given the popularity of the original Toyota C-HR in Ireland, so customers are encouraged to act quickly and contact their local dealerships to avoid missing out.
Toyota’s marketing department tells us that the new-generation Toyota C-HR represents an evolution for Toyota in both innovation and design. They say that the standout selling points are the bold new style, sustainable features and with Toyota’s latest fifth generation technology which delivers increased power and low emissions.
The exterior showcases precision-cut lines, a new Bi-tone paint and design, and flush door handles representing a new clean, sculptural style, while the interior features on some grades include ambient lighting, a 12.3” Toyota Smart Connect multimedia package, and a new 12.3” fully digital combimeter.
There are five hybrid electric models, the C-HR sport, C-HR Sport+, C-HR Sol, including two Premiere Edition Models: Premiere Edition and GR Sport Premiere Edition. It will be available in two power combinations: a 1.8 and 2.0-litre hybrid electric.
This car promises to represent the next stage of the brand’s sustainability mission with features such as seat fabric made from 100% recycled plastic bottles, a vegan-material steering wheel, and new paint which uses water-based instead of oil-based paint. Its panoramic glass roof – available on Sport+, Sol Premiere Edition and GR Sport Premier Edition, is also 5kg lighter which helps reduce CO2 emissions.
“After an exciting reveal earlier this year, we’re excited to finally see the all-new Toyota C-HR Hybrid Electric arrive to Irish shores,” said Zoë Bradley, Head of Marketing Communications and Corporate Affairs in Toyota Ireland.
“The new Toyota C-HR is the ideal statement car for customers who are looking for a stylish car, with standout design and sustainable features, which doesn’t compromise on power. The original Toyota C-HR is one of Toyota’s most popular models for Irish buyers, so we’re expecting high demand for the new generation model and encourage customers to contact their local dealerships to avoid missing out.”
