Grant Thornton Ireland has launched its new Business Consulting department in its Galway office as the firm continues to expand its practice in line with growing client needs across the Border, Midlands and West (BMW) region. It forms a core part of Grant Thornton’s commitment to hire 1,000 new recruits across its seven Irish offices by 2024.
The newly launched Business Consulting team has been established to expand the firm’s national business consulting services already based in other Grant Thornton locations, and to best serve the needs of their growing client base in the region.
This new team, led locally by Kelley Geraghty, supports businesses with issues including Change Management, Project and Program Management, Operational Excellence, Finance Transformation, Process Improvement, Supply Chain Management, Strategic Planning and Economic Advisory.
The local team looks forward to drawing on the firm’s global expertise to support businesses in the region by solving their organisational problems and enabling them to achieve their growth plans. The Business Consulting team works nationally with clients across the public sector and all industries within the private sector.
Speaking on the launch, Elaine Daly, Partner and Head of Business Consulting for Grant Thornton said:
‘We are delighted to be expanding our business consulting practice here in Galway to support the needs of our clients as they navigate a challenging economic landscape.
‘Our team provides clients with expert advice that will help them move forward, identifying and implementing major transformations efficiently, ensuring that they are resilient and adaptable to change.’
Grant Thornton is also continuing their commitment to support irish businesses nationally, especially during recent periods of unprecedented and rapid change, and as part of this commitment, earlier this year the firm launched the Irish Business Voice Survey, which was lead nationally by Aengus Burns, Partner of Advisory in the firm’s Galway office.
The results of this survey will support the reinvigoration of the economy by arming businesses with the right tools and advice to move to the next stage of success, whatever that may be. The firm will issue a report on the findings of the Irish Business Voice Survey, as well as offer webinars on these topics to support local businesses in the West of Ireland and across the country who are seeking solutions to these issues.
Be sure to keep an eye on Grant Thornton’s website and social media to view this publication and engage in the webinars to support your business.
