An exhibition of new work from freelance illustrator and fine artist, Terri Kelleher, a member of the Kinvara Area Visual Artists group is running for the month of October at Brazco Coffee Academy, Carraig Lair, Oranmore (upstairs from Lidl).
The title, Haunted Castles and Spooky Places, is in keeping with the October theme of Halloween, according to the Ballinderreen-based artist, who has created an accompanying book of the same name that features her artwork along with the myths and legends of these places, told in a rhyme format.
Next Friday, October 13, people are invited along to a special evening, hosted by witch Morbid Murgatroyd, who will entertain her guests with these tales and legends from the book, as well as offering drinks and treats to all present.
This event is free and all are welcome.
“Hopefully, it will an entertaining evening for adults and kids alike, who are welcome to come along in their Halloween costumes if they dare!” she says.
