The need for a pedestrian crossing in Letterfrack is now under active consideration.

It follows a survey carried out last year on traffic calming measures in the village.

Transport Infastructure Ireland now has to make a decision on the necessity of the crossing with those results in mind.

Galway West TD Mairéad Farrell strongly believes it’s a necessary addition.
