It seems only right that the MG badge should appear on the front of a new roadster. After all, the brand made its name from two-seater sportscars and now MG Motor Ireland have announced pricing details of its highly anticipated EV roadster, the Cyberster.
MG will soon reveal the locations where customers can experience the thrill of driving the MG Cyberster as they announce their appointed MG Cyberster dealers. For now, anyone seeking information on this highly anticipated model can contact their local MG dealer for more details or refer to mg.ie.
Featuring signature scissor doors as envisioned by Carl Gotham and his MG London design team, as well as a fully-electric fabric hood that can be opened or closed in as little as 15 seconds at speeds up to 48 km/h, the rear-wheel-drive Cyberster promises to be a compelling yet refined drive.
The single-motor, Exclusive, Cyberster is available from €69,900. Impressive power figures of 340 PS (250 kW), with maximum torque confirmed at 475 Nm suggests a seriously quick car. They say that it will sprint from 0-100 km/h in just 5.0 seconds.
A dual-motor, GT, Cyberster is available from €75,500. The Dual Motor will be the marque’s new flagship and the most powerful production model in MG’s 100-year history, with no less than 503 PS (375 kW) and 725 Nm of torque. The dual-motor is an all-wheel-drive GT is capable of sprinting from 0- 100 km/h in a staggering 3.2 seconds.
Both the Exclusive and GT are equipped with four drive modes – Comfort, Custom, Sport, and Track – allowing drivers to explore the full potential of the Cyberster, from refined, long-distance touring to pure, performance-focused options.
The Exclusive and GT models 77 kWh battery delivers an exemplary combination of range and performance. Maximum range (WLTP) for the Exclusive Single Motor is 509 km, and 443 km for the more performance-focused GT Dual Motor.
The end result is a powerful roadster with a chassis offering high levels of refinement in the city, right through to a genuinely sporting experience on the open road.
There are five exterior colour choices, from the classic Ivory White to the vibrant Inca Yellow, accentuated by contrasting black lower trim. Including roof fabric and exterior paint colours, there are 32 combinations to choose from. And like all MG models, the Cyberster is supported by a comprehensive 7-year, 150,000km warranty.
