Located in the heart of Belclare outside Tuam is this outstanding farm, which has a guide price of €680,000 and will be auctioned online this Friday.
Classed as ‘‘one of the finest farms ever to come on the market in this region’’, this sale will indicate what quality agricultural lands are achieving in the West.
Extending to approximately 72 acres of top quality free draining soil, this farm comes on the market by online auction with a farmhouse and a range of farm outbuildings with cattle crush and penning.
The lands which are of excellent quality presently under grass and laid out in neat divisions are renowned for their fattening abilities. To the centre of the 72-acre block is an area containing sand and gravel deposits which may have further potential but more recently used for out-wintering of cattle. The farm buildings include a three bay traditional style hayshed, a range of traditional storage sheds, cattle crush and penning.
The traditional style storey-and-a-half farmhouse is located to the front of the 72-acre block. Extending to approximately 90 square metres, the property would benefit from some modernisation but with a little outlay could be transformed into a wonderful countryside home. This property should qualify for the Vacant Property Refurbishment Grant.
The executor sale will take place online on the LSL Auction platform livestock-live.com this Friday (March 22) at 3pm. For further information contact David Moggan Property Consultants on 091 739739.
