Zeppelin tribute band as Plant plays live

Led Zeppelin will be to the fore across Galway City this Friday night, October 28.
The band’s former lead singer Robert Plant will be in the Town Hall Theatre performing roots and Americana music, while tribute band No Stairway will play Seven on Bridge Street, paying homage to the man and his stellar 1970s work. They will be performing Good Times, Bad Times, Whole Lotta Love, Black Dog, Communication Breakdown’ and the band’s best-known song, Stairway To Heaven.
No Stairway is made up of some of Galway’s finest musicians, all talented performers in their own right as well as being mega fans of Robert Plant and Led Zeppelin.
They include vocalist Steven Sharpe; guitarist Ronan O’Malley, Shane O’Malley on bass and keyboards; and drummer Bill Dunne.
The quartet love this music and they recreate Zeppelin’s live presence and studio albums as faithfully as possible,
No Stairway will play Seven at 11pm. Support is from 4 Mile Circus, starting at 10pm. Admission is free.
