Loughrea event to hear stories from Occupied West Bank

An event taking place in Loughrea tonight will hear stories from the Occupied West Bank.

Máire Ní Mheibhric, who served as a human rights monitor there, will provide eyewitness accounts at the event organised by Loughrea for Palestine.

There will be a particular focus on daily life for rural communities in the West Bank living under Israeli occupation.

The event, which has a 10 euro entry, takes place at the Temperance Hall at 7.30pm and will be followed by live music.
