Emma Doran will headline the Róisín Dubh’s Thursday Night Comedy Club next Thursday, December 8. Having recently taken part in the city’s Comedy Festival, she is currently selling out gigs across the country, including Dublin’s Liberty Hall.
Her television appearances include No Worries if Not, Bridget and Eamonn and Ray Darcy’s Saturday night show.
Emma will be supported by musician-turned comic Ellen O’Reilly. Her show includes sing-along ditties that aren’t for the faint-hearted, along with filthy yarns and bad language.
The night will be hosted by Jessica Collins, who, since she began as a stand-up four years ago, has gone from seeing her favourite Irish comics on stage to sharing that space with them.
She featured in the line-up for Electric Picnic in 2019, and at the Galway Comedy Festival, as well as being a finalist at the Show Me the Funny competition in early 2020.
The first 25 tickets cost €8 in advance from roisindubh.net and are €10 after that. It’s also €10 at the door, although pre-booking is advised. Doors are at 8pm and the show will start at 8.30pm. Age 18+.
