Wildlands, the family adventure park in Moycullen, has announced a series of new activities this summer – aimed at visitors of all ages.
Nestled in over 20 acres of mature woodland overlooking Ballyquirke Lake, Wildlands offers a mix of nature, adventure, and luxury.
Building on the success of last year’s record-breaking 120,000 visitors, Wildlands is set to open a new retail store and food outlet this July.
The ‘Wildlands Shack’ will feature local crafts, toys, clothing and souvenirs, as well as a range of gourmet hot food to go options using local produce, gelato, hot drinks and other delicious home cooked food options.
Wildlands is also collaborating with the renowned ‘Be My Bear’, in a first for Ireland where children can build their own eco-friendly teddy bear.
Wildlands is expanding its array of activities – from the new Net Adventure Courses, featuring slides, tunnels, a Ball Games Zone for friendly competition, to the adrenaline-pumping Giant Swing, offering high-flying excitement for all ages.
Visitors can also explore the neighbouring Special Area of Conservation while paddling through Ballyquirke Lake, a tributary of the Corrib.
Longer sessions will offer insights into the area’s vast natural beauty, showcasing the majestic lakes of Moycullen, visitors are invited to rediscover the woodlands, reedbeds and local wildlife along the way such as birds, otters, mink, stoat, frogs, bats and more!
Wildlands also boasts 14 open-plan log cabins with antique details, exposed rafters, and outdoor decking, making them ideal for enjoying long summer nights during the holiday season.
“Our new retail store is going to be a great addition to Wildlands,” said Michael Ahern, General Manager of Wildlands.
