An Irish environmental consulting and testing company has announced the opening of its third office, this one in the N17 Business Park in Tuam, its first outlet in the Connacht region.
Southern Scientific Services monitors the drinking water supply for local authorities across Ireland on behalf of Irish Water. Southern also works closely with clients in the agricultural, construction, environmental, food, and pharmaceutical sectors to support environmental compliance and product quality assurance.
The company will now take on three new staff to add to their nationwide sample collection service and operate the Galway facility.
“We’d like to thank our Logistics Manager, Sinead Kelly and our Sample Technicians, Stephen Curley and Daniel Burke, for their support in helping us get set up,” said Southern Scientific’s Operations Manager, Conor Murphy.
With 28 years of experience in independent water analysis, Southern Scientific provide a diverse and comprehensive service from testing private wells, well drilling, filtration companies, industry, local county councils, Irish Water, group water schemes and Board Bia members, as well as private domestic householders and other business owners.
