With over twenty years’ experience in the Galway County property sector Tuam-based estate agent Ronán Long has rebranded his business and is ready to launch his latest service offering.
Having operated a Property Partners franchise for 21 years, his new business Long & Co. Estate Agents & Chartered Surveyors has been rebranded for several reasons.
According to Ronán “the market has evolved significantly in recent years and we need to promote our range of property services in line with changes in technology and customer demand. The evolution of property services to a more digitally-based platform requires us to be more accessible to our audience and our website and social media responds to these unique demands”
In assessing the market, Ronán adds that the demographics of Galway city and county have changed dramatically over the past 20 years and current supply & demand levels reflect these changes. While the market is delivering record prices for stock, there is no certainty that the underlying factors will change for the foreseeable future.
The financial institutions and market in general have become more forensic on Valuations. Changes in property law and tax demands continuous updating to serve our clients’ needs.
Our service-offering remains personal, based on integrity, and offering a qualified opinion in all areas where the market is seeking a professional response. Our office team has a wealth of experience in all areas; property sales & acquisitions, valuations for all purposes and property management. We have expanded our property base from Tuam to all parts of Galway County & City. In 2023 our Galway office acquired a portfolio of managed properties and this has grown considerably.
In property valuation, Thomas Glavey MRICS MSCSI, gained over twenty years of chartered experience in London, UK, before joining the Galway team in 2023. In addition, his management of the family farm since returning means that he has a core knowledge of the land and farming sector. Martina Cullen MIPAV has over fifteen years of estate agency experience in the West of Ireland. Experienced in sales and valuation she leads the Property Management team and her role includes Tenant Sourcing, Rent Control & Review, Mediation and Dispute Resolution. Emer Lavin has a legal background and her experience in conveyance is fundamental in administration and regulation.
Ronán Long MRICS MSCSI was Chair of the Property Partners Group 2015 to 2018 and presided over the Group Rebrand during his tenure. He remains on the Board of Action Tuam CLG since 2019 and was Chair of the Board from 2021 to 2024. He served as President of Tuam Chamber of Commerce from 2005 to 2008 and continues to advocate for higher priority of infrastructural balance for Tuam and North-Galway.
Our collective experience is key to growth in all areas and we are continuously seeking to add suitably qualified agents to our team to serve the market better going forward. We are very proud of our company growth to date and are delighted to meet new clients in the office or online as the need arises.
