The city’s Town Hall Theatre plays host to top UK tribute act, the Ed Sheeran Experience, this Friday, February 9.
It’s fronted by Jack Shepherd, who bears an uncanny resemblance to the man himself as he performs all the hits, backed by a live band. Jack is widely known for his Sheeran tribute shows, having performed them all over the world since 2015.
Aside from the lookalike hair and tattoos, Jack plays Lowden guitars, just like Ed Sheeran, who works in collaboration with the Northern Irish company, and he uses a replica loop station to create all the beats and backing vocals live on stage. The addition of the live band a couple of years ago, has added another dimension.
The man himself has told Jack on live radio that he thinks the singer’s performance is “awesome and really great.”
Tickets are €28/€25 from 091-569777, tht.ie or the box office.
