Three Galway GAA clubs have taken awards for their use and support of the Irish language in their activities.

Peil na mban Charna Caiseal won a silver award at the Fondúireacht Sheosaimh Mhic Dhonncha awards at Croke Park.

While Caltra GAA Cumann Naomh Mhuire and Ard Rathain GAA received a bronze award.

Nationally, 3 clubs told gold awards, 13 clubs took silver, and 37 were awarded bronze.
