Galway Bay fm newsroom – Galway County Council is seeking tenders for coastal protection works in Spiddal, and the deadline is next Tuesday.
The project will involve the construction of approximately 150 metres of rock armour and the repair of 150 metre of existing coastal protection.
Public seating benches are also to be installed and 20 meters of footpath is to be replaced.
The works are expected to last four weeks.
All expressions of interest must be sent to County Hall by Tuesday.
