PAYMENTS of almost €1.4 million under the Targeted Agriculture Modernisation Scheme (TAMS 3) have started this week, the Minister for Agriculture, Charlie McConalogue, has confirmed.
Payments will continue to roll out over the coming weeks to the 3,800 participants in TAMS 3 – there are already 12,000 farmers who benefited from grant aid under TAMS 1 and 2.
Minister McConalogue said that TAMS had been a hugely successful and beneficial scheme for Irish farmers since its inception.
“It has delivered key modernisation, environmental and safety improvements on thousands of farms across the country.
“It has also supported local economies in the construction phase of developments. I would encourage all existing applicants with approvals to submit their payment claims as soon as they are complete,” said the Minister.
The Dept. of Agriculture has advised that TAMS queries of a technical nature relating to the specifications should be submitted by email to: tams@agricul ture.gov.ie
For all other TAMS queries contact TAMS 3 Admin on 053-9163425. Contractors can register their eTC and access code by emailing TAMScontractors@ agriculture.gov.ie
