Also tomorrow, the cameras will become operational on the N17 in Mayo, northeast of Claremorris

Gardaí have invested in several of these speed detection infrastructure in recent months

The locations are selected based on fatal and serious injury collision data from the last seven years and speed data

Feedback from stakeholders also plays a role in the decision-making
