Ballynasooragh, Mountbellew: seeking bids over €195,000 at online auction.

The Connacht Property Auction will hold their next online auctions on June 3 and July 1 and are still accepting properties from vendors to add to the catalogues.

According to the auctioneers, there is “huge demand” for properties at the moment, despite the pandemic.

Shane May said: “Previous years have shown the April to July period is particularly strong for selling residential and commercial property. While circumstances this year are very different to previous years, we are seeing huge demand for properties and our auction team are keen to speak to property owners who are considering bringing their property to the market.”

He said that with demand for property extraordinarily strong right now, property owners should consider coming to market sooner rather than later.

“We are encouraging owners considering selling their property and indeed buyers to contact us to discuss. We offer properties across the province and remain the only auction provider in Ireland who do not charge any upfront costs to entry a property into their auction,” said Mr May.

The next auction will offer a great selection of properties and while prices are continuing to increase, there is still choice and value to be found for buyers as well.

The two semis sit on a half-acre site which is included in the sale.

Five unfinished homes on the eastern side of the city are set to be sold by receivers next month in an online auction with a €900,000 guide price.

The three apartments and two houses are part of the Coill Tíre development in Doughiska and are being brought to the market by receivers appointed by the US vulture fund Oaktree Capital.

The units were developed and owned by a company called Pinearch Properties, operated by Paul and David O’Brien from Limerick.

The apartments (2 three-bed and 1 two-bed) are in a block of ten similar units on ground and first floor and are ready for first fixing.

There are also two unfinished three-bed semi-detached houses which are ready for first fix. They site on a site of around a half-acre where there was previous planning for ten homes.
