A 20 year old city man pleaded guilty this week before Circuit Criminal Court to a charge of burglary at a house on the outskirts of the city last year.
Niall Greaney, formerly of The Green, College Road, pleaded guilty to breaking into a house at Ballindooley with intent to commit a burglary on May 18 last year.
Defence barrister, Geri Silke asked Judge Raymond Groarke to defer sentencing until a report on her client was compiled by the Probation Service.
