Sales of new EVs in Galway head into end of year 40 percent below 2023

Sales of new Electric Vehicles in Galway are heading into the last month of the year 40 percent below 2023.

This time last year, 822 new EVs were registered, compared to just 499 this year.

That’s despite new regular car sales being more or less the same both years.

Nationally, new EV sales are down by a quarter.
