Galway soprano Clare Quinn will give a recital at the National Concert Hall on Thursday, October 10.
The programme will include works by Mahler, Mozart and Strauss, and will be Clare’s solo recital debut at the prestigious Dublin venue, marking a major milestone in her burgeoning career.
From Renmore in Galway City and a graduate of London’s Royal Academy of Music, Clare is thrilled to be returning to Ireland for this performance.
It follows her recognition last year as the winner of the Bernadette Greevy Bursary for Irish Singers, and is the final instalment of the Bernadette Greevy Recital series at the NCH.
Clare will also perform the premiere of a newly commissioned composition by Robin Haigh, winner of the 2023 Jerome Hynes Young Composers’ Award.
She will be accompanied by pianist Niall Kinsella for the concert, which starts at 7.30pm Thursday, October 10, in the Kevin Barry Recital Room at the National Concert Hall. Tickets, €15, available at NCH.ie or by calling 01 417000.
