Power points are to be rolled out across additional piers in Connemara in the coming months.

At the moment, power points are in place at Kilronan and Kilkieran piers on a pilot basis, with plans to add three more points at Inisbofin, Inis Meáin and Inis Oírr

The power points work via a QR code, which people can then use to pay for electricity at the piers.
