A new collection of stories – written by six fresh voices and set in six different decades – will be launched in Charlie Byrnes next Tuesday, April 22, at 6pm.
The authors, Seán Coffey, Máirín Stronge, Sharon Guard, Gio, Sarah Lou Ryan and Conor Clohessy, are collectively known as the AdNibs Collective and all are graduates of the MA in Creative Writing at the University of Limerick.
Their book, the Decades, comprises original stories from all six emerging writers, each voice echoing from a moment in time over the course of six decades, woven from common threads.
Each story – spanning from 1964 to 2018 – stands alone and speaks from the heart of individuals who at times struggle to make sense of the world. The decades speak too, of those who make an impact without always knowing.
The Decades is now available to buy or order in all Irish bookshops. Both paperback and eBook formats can be purchased from all major online book sales outlets internationally.
