Fans of live music and comedy who live outside of cities and who don’t want to face Galway’ City’s traffic, have other options for these events in 2025.
Abbaesque, Europe’s original and most successful Abba show, will be in the Raheen Woods Hotel, Athenry, on March 14; at the Headfort Arms, Kells, on March 15; at Hotel Kilmore, Cavan, on April 5; the Longford Arms on April 11, and Shamrock Lodge, Athlone, on April 12.
The Queen Of Rock is the new show celebrating the decades of hits from the one and only Tina Turner. It can be seen in Raheen Woods, Athenry, on Bank Holiday Sunday, April 20; in Newgrange Hotel, Navan, on February 28; in the Longford Arms on March 7, and Trim Castle Hotel on April 25.
The Cash Returns Show, is a tribute to Johnny Cash and June Carter Cash, and it can be seen in the Shamrock Lodge, Athlone, on February 22, and the Greville Arms, Mullingar, on April 4.
Fans of comedy can catch Neil Delamere in The Raheen Woods Hotel on Friday, April 18, and for those who fancy a trip outside the county, he’s in Mullingar Arts Centre before that, on March 16.
These events are being presented by Colm McCabe Promotions, who add that the hotels hosting these shows are offering great rates for overnight accommodation and pre-event dinners.
“That makes tickets for these shows a great gift idea; a gift with double the pleasure, the pleasure of receiving and anticipating a night out, and of course the actual pleasure of going to a show.”
Full dtails of these events can be found on social media for Colm McCabe Promotions while tickets can be got from the venues and online @ticketstop.ie.
