A meeting is to take place tomorrow [Thurs 6/8] with N6 Construction over the condition of the Cappataggle – New Inn road in East Galway.
Councillor Tim Broderick has requested the meeting after receiving numerous complaints from local residents that the road is impassable for cars.
It’s understood some repairs have begun on the road, but locals want a complete re-instatement of the road to the standard it was before building on the new N6 began.
Councillor Broderick says the New Inn – Cappataggle road is like a road in Beirut.
