There’s been major progress for new buildings and extensions for schools in Gort, Caltra and Kinvara

The Department of Education has issued a Letter of Intent to the preferred bidder for a modern 12-classroom building for Gort National School

Meanwhile, at Scoil Iosaf Naofa in Kinvara, an extension – with a new classroom, Special Education Room and activities room – has been completed.

And a new multi-classroom with ancillary space and a Special Education room has also been completed for Caltra National School in Ballinasloe

Local Senator Shane Curley says these facilities will make a huge difference to the schools
