A local TD is demanding that the Government do more to tackle banking scams.
Speaking in the Dáil, Galway West TD Mairead Farrell first outlined a case where a couple planning their wedding lost €4 thousand through Revolut.
Then, she said she’s been more recently contacted by a young man who was scammed out of €10 thousand.
Sinn Fein Deputy Farrell said they’re just two cases among many.
