Lexus Galway is the first-ever Irish winner of the European Kiwami Award in honour of Lexus’ Finest European Retailers.
The European Lexus Kiwami Award recognises excellence in business and customer service and reflects Lexus Galway’s commitment to “making luxury personal” and delivering unique ‘Omotenashi’ hospitality to all Lexus customers.
This is the first time a Lexus dealership in Ireland has won this prestigious European Kiwami award. Tony Burke, dealer principal of Lexus Galway attended the European Kiwami Awards ceremony held in Budapest in Hungary, where he was honoured to accept the European Kiwami Award on behalf Lexus Galway.
Kiwami Awards recognise excellence in business and customer service achieved by Lexus European retailers. 19 Lexus centres were honoured this year, from among more than 340 eligible businesses and we are delighted to announce that Lexus Galway, Ireland was one of the nineteen Lexus centres honoured this year.
Since their introduction in 2016, the Kiwami (“outstanding excellence”) Awards have highlighted the dedication and innovation of Lexus retailers. With more than 340 official Lexus centres eligible this year, the level of competition and achievement has been truly inspiring.
Am total of 19 retailers were recognised in the 2025 awards for their exceptional business performance and their commitment to delivering the unique Lexus experience, defined by ‘Omotenashi’ hospitality.
Each winner embodies Lexus philosophy of ‘making luxury personal’, with retailer staff demonstrating exceptional attention to detail—not only in how they prepare for every customer interaction, but in every aspect of their day-to-day operations. This dedication ensures that every guest is treated with the care and consideration reserved for someone welcomed into one’s home.
“The Kiwami Awards are a testament to the passion and dedication of our retailer partners,” said Andre Schmidt, Head of Lexus and Omnichannel Experience at Toyota Motor Europe.
“Each winner has demonstrated not only outstanding business performance, but also a deep commitment to delivering a one-of-a-kind personalised hospitality that defines Lexus. My sincere congratulations go to all this year’s winners – your achievements are an inspiration to the whole Lexus family in Europe to continuously raise the bar for excellence. And it is exactly this relentless focus on delighting our customer that is fuelling our growth in Europe,” he said.
Commenting on the award Tony Burke, dealer principal of Lexus Galway, said Lexus Galway was “delighted and honoured to have received this prestigious European Kiwami award in recognition of our exceptional business performance and our commitment to delivering a unique Lexus customer experience”.
“It is a testament to our entire Lexus Galway team, headed up by Enda Brennan, Lexus Galway sales manager and James Ryan, Lexus Galway sales executive and all the team’s dedication and commitment to delivering unique Omotenashi hospitality to all our customers.
“I would like to congratulate and thank our entire Lexus Galway team; their passion and commitment continue to drive Lexus forward,” he said.
