His 6,371 votes are now being distributed to the four remaining candidates left in the race.

They are expected to elect John Connolly (FF), Hildegarde Naughton (FG), and Noel Grealish (Ind) into the last three seats, joining Mairéad Farrell (SF) and Catherine Connolly (Ind).

But there’s an outside chance that because Kyne’s base is Moycullen they may boost the chances of Noel Thomas (Ind Ire).

Grealish is 980 ahead of Thomas and is highly unlikely to be caught.
