Galway Hospice has officially launched its 2025 range of Christmas cards, decorations, and festive gifts – and all are now available in shops across Galway and online, with proceeds from sales supporting the delivery of essential hospice care in the local community.
This year’s Christmas cards are made possible through the generous sponsorship of O’Toole’s SuperValu, Radharc Landscaping, Busker Brownes Bar & Kirby’s Restaurant, Signfit Branding, Crann na Móna, and Ultimate Office.
Speaking at the launch, Mary Nash, Chief Executive of Galway Hospice, expressed her gratitude to the sponsors and the community for their ongoing support.
“We are very grateful to the local sponsors who support the Galway Hospice Christmas campaign each year. Their generosity ensures that 100% of the funds raised go directly towards supporting the work of Galway Hospice in our community,” she said.
In addition to Christmas cards, Galway Hospice offers a range of festive gifts, including the 2026 Galway Hospice Calendar featuring Galway landscapes, sponsored by Snap Galway. Other popular gift items include a Robin Pin, Angel Pin, and Weekly Draw Gift Voucher.
Supporters can also sponsor a Christmas tree light in memory of a loved one. The lighting of the Galway Memorial Tree will take place at 5pm on Sunday, November 30, at Galway Hospice, when Dáithí Ó Sé will officially switch on the tree lights.
The evening will feature special performances by Galway Tenor Frank Naughton and country star Jimmy Buckley. The Tree of Lights Celebration is kindly sponsored by St Columba’s Credit Union, Mervue, and supported by Triur Construction.
Christmas cards, calendars, and gifts are available to purchase at Galway Hospice, Renmore, through local shops, or online at galwayhospice.ie/shop.
