Two clean-cut Galway lads have proven they have the recipe for success – growing their fresh food delivery service from scratch to more than 50,000 customers.

From humble beginnings in a home kitchen over four years ago, Micheal Dyer from Oughterard and Conor McCallion from Salthill have grown their business, Clean Cut Meals, into a massive operation with a state-of-the-art commercial kitchen in Clarinbridge that employs almost a dozen people.

The duo, who have a background in food and commerce, began in 2014 cooking for family and friends. They started out with just 24 orders but the business has expanded and earlier this year they passed the 50,000-customer mark, having distributed more than a half a million meals to 32 counties.

In the beginning it was just Conor and Micheal, but the enterprise has now grown to a team of ten staff, who are all passionate what they are doing.

Clean Cut Meals, is a fresh food delivery service, providing healthy portion-controlled meals delivered to your door.

The idea behind the business was convenience – and the premise that no one has time to be prepping food, weighing out the correct portion sizes and wondering if they are really eating a balanced diet.
