Expansion: Frank McElwee and Jane Hogan of M&M QualTech.

A Galway based product development and manufacturing partner, is celebrating its 30th year in business with a major expansion – and the creation of 100 new jobs.

M&M Qualtech already employs over 200 staff at their facility in Parkmore, having started life in 1988 manufacturing cable assemblies for the telecommunications industry.

The company, founded by Mike Connolly Senior, has gone from strength to strength over the past 30 years and today is a global provider of design, engineering and manufacturing services for complex electronics in the medical devices, automotive, Information and Communications (ICT) and aerospace sectors.

M&M Qualtech, which continues to be owned and managed by the Connolly family, recently announced a substantial extension to their facility in conjunction with their long-time customer Aerogen.

Construction of the 10,000 square foot extension will commenced last month and is expected to create an additional 100 jobs over the next three years.
