A sod turning ceremony will take place next Monday (October 20TH) for the new €9.5m community centre in Maigh Cuilinn.
Gaeltacht Minister Dara Calleary will attend the event from 1PM for the new Ionad Pobail in the village.
It comes as the building contract for the multi-functional facility has been signed by Government.
It will be built near Killarainey Woods and is expected to include a sports hall and a stage for drama and cultural events.
