iamsold, the online auction and bidding platform used by more than 300 auctioneers across Ireland, is now taking entries for an auction which will take place on May 18.
This event will offer homes from around the country and will be held online. It will offer a mix of houses and apartments in coastal areas along with rural cottages and high-end properties in scenic locations.
iamsold Director Patrick Folan told Tribune Property: “Previous years have shown the April to July period is particularly strong for properties sales in general. We have been running our auctions for a number of years now and it has been very successful.
“We find buyers coming from the UK and Northern Ireland are strong while there is also good demand for Irish holidaymakers particularly from Dublin. In addition, we are seeing more appetite from further afield with byers from USA, France and Germany amongst others active in the market.
“With a lack of supply still an issue in the market, prices being achieved are often higher than expected and demand is very strong,” Mr Folan said.
Among the properties currently available are:
Letterard, Cashel. Offered at bids over €140,000 in conjunction with Sherry FitzGerald Mangan, Clifden. Offering lovely sea views, this traditional style one-bed residence has an unfinished first floor and rear extension. Beautifully located at the end of an inlet of the Atlantic ocean, this is a great opportunity to acquire a property in a very scenic location and finish to completion to suit.
10 Radharc Na Farraige, Casla. Offered at bids over €135,000 and for sale by Spencer Auctioneers, Oughterard. This spacious two-bed, first floor apartment is conveniently located within minutes of all amenities. This superb property is ready for immediate occupation and would be ideal for investment or owner occupation.
