Echoes of the Coast, a collection of seascapes by Tiffani Love is currently being exhibited in the city’s Daróg Wine Bar, on Dominick Street. Originally from Northern New York and now living in the West of Ireland, Love’s artwork reflects her deep connection to her new home. Her paintings respond to the landscape, capturing its shifting nature and the balance between past and present.
Her current collection explores the dynamic nature of western seascapes, taking in Galway Bay, Roundstone, and the Cliffs of Moher. Love’s paintings invite viewers to experience the interplay between past and present, as the shifting environment reveals the layers beneath the surface.
Love holds a Bachelor of Fine Art from The State University of New York (SUNY) Plattsburgh and an MFA from Burren College of Art. She has exhibited widely, including in Galway, Cork, Belfast, New York and Nashville.
A two-time recipient of the Arts Council of Ireland’s Agility Award, she has also received the Elizabeth Greenshields Foundation Grant and a Galway City Council Creative Practitioner Bursary. Most recently, she was awarded the inaugural Plein Air Painter Artist Residency at Glenveagh National Park in Donegal. Tiffani has been a member of Barton Studios in Galway since 2022.
Echoes of the Coast will be on display at Daróg Wine Bar until Friday, May 2.
