Druid Theatre has appointed a new CEO.

Kerry woman Maureen Kennelly is taking up the role, and brings with her an extensive background in arts and culture.

She’s previously held leadership positions in the Arts Council, Kilkenny Arts Festival, Mermaid Arts Centre, and Poetry Ireland.

Maureen says having lived, studied and worked in Galway, she’s delighted to return and contribute to the remarkable local arts scene.
