The Galway Indian community is gearing up to celebrate its 18th Diwali, the Festival of Lights this weekend
Diwali is an important holiday in the Hindu calendar – symbolising the triumph of light over darkness and good over evil.
The ticketed event will take place this Saturday from 5pm at the Ardilaun Hotel in the city.
Speaking to our reporter Chris Benn, Nikunj Sakhrelia from the Galway Indian Community says there’s something for everyone at this year’s celebration.
