Following on from great success last year, Corrandulla is once again alive with artistic enthusiasm as the local community supports an exciting project by the Corrandulla Arts Collective.
Seeking to bring art into the community, a group of local artists is adding a creative touch to the village landscape.
Residents throughout Corrandulla village have embraced the initiative for a second year now, generously offering their gardens. Local businesses are contributing to the funding efforts through donations.
This year the project is even bigger than last year involving the installation of 40 boards, strategically placed in neighbourhood gardens with the trail starting at the Community Centre. The result is a captivating and immersive art trail spanning approximately 1.5 kilometers, showcasing the diverse talents of local artists.
Scheduled to officially open on April 27 between 2pm and 5pm, the art trail will kick off with an informal gathering of the contributing artists.
Navigating the art trail is made easy with a dedicated board at the community centre in Corrandulla, serving as a guide and featuring the names of participating artists, as well as local businesses that have supported the initiative through sponsorship.
The Corrandulla Arts Collective is inviting residents and visitors alike to join in the celebration of creativity and community spirit and visit the trail from April to September, where you can immerse yourself in the visual feast, as the village showcases its collective artistic soul through this engaging and walkable art trail.
