A set of controversial traffic lights in Loughrea are being blamed once again for “chaos” over the weekend.
The issue was taken up at a meeting of local councillors today – where Councillor Moegie Maher argued the lights at West Bridge should be removed altogether.
He said they’ve been causing disruption due to sequencing issues ever since they were installed, and people are fed up of them.
