Connacht’s first Youth Climate Justice Assembly is taking place in Galway today.
It’ll see climate activists, policy advisors and other relevant parties come together to amplify youth voices in shaping climate action at a regional level.
The SAUTI Youth Project event is funded through the Department of Education, Youth’s Climate Justice Fund, Léargas, University of Galway, ATU and the Galway National Park City Initiative,
Young people from schools and youth services across Galway will be attending the event at the University of Galway from 10 this morning until 2:30 this afternoon.
