Chanelle Pharma, the hugely successful Loughrea-headquartered manufacturer of generic pharmaceuticals for human and animal health, has revealed plans to double in size over the next three years.
This partnership comes on the back of Chanelle’s expansion and offers a wide range of opportunities to suit people irrespective of their qualifications or experience. As part of that process, they have also unveiled a new recruitment partnership with the Galway city-based ICE Group.
There are roles for everyone – seasoned experts, recent graduates and those who do not have a degree. All of these roles offer huge potential to progress in a rewarding and varied career.
Chanelle Pharma is a prominent and local employer in the west of Ireland – and for the past 39 years, many in Loughrea and across the county have played a pivotal role in making Chanelle a success.
The company is Ireland’s largest manufacturer of generic pharmaceuticals for human and animal health, employing more than 700 people in Ireland, the UK, Portugal and Jordan.
In February 2024, Chanelle Pharma was acquired by Exponent, a leading European private equity firm.
And now Chief People Officer at Chanelle Pharma Kara Walsh revealed that the company is hoping to double in size in the next three years.
“The west of Ireland boasts a growing pharmaceutical and biotechnology sector, with companies like Chanelle Pharma leading the way,” she said.
“We are delighted to be recruiting for a range of roles to support our growing business needs. Our partnership with ICE Group will help us welcome new colleagues who can make a meaningful contribution to our operation in Loughrea both locally and globally,” she said.
ICE Jobs CEO Margaret Cox pointed to what she called her company’s ‘exceptional track record of delivering results for our clients’.
“Our expert recruitment team can provide both temporary and permanent job placements for candidates wanting to work for one of Ireland’s largest manufacturers of generic pharmaceuticals for human and animal health,” she said.
“There is a substantial opportunity for anyone in Loughrea and other parts of Galway and elsewhere to participate in a hugely rewarding sector and company. If you think you have what it takes to start or progress your career, check out what roles are available in Chanelle Pharma,” she added.
