Salthill woman Aoife Mulholland who had a career over ten years in London’s West End in roles like Roxie in Chicago, Maria in The Sound of Music and Brooke Wyndham in Legally Blonde, will be back on home turf next week for a special festive show, A Swingin’ Little Christmas.
The concert, featuring Big Band Christmas classics from Hollywood to Las Vegas, will be in Leisureland on Friday next, December 12.
As well as Aoife, the line-up will include swing-era vocalist Matt Ford and the award-winning barbershop quartet, 4 in a Bar, with music from the Niall Kinsella Orchestra, conducted by Niall Kinsella.
They’ll be singing all the traditional favourites including White Christmas, Santa Baby, Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire, Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas, Sleigh Ride, Winter Wonderland and many more crackers.
A Swingin’ Christmas is at 7.30pm in Leisureland on December 12. Tickets €25, with a concession rate of €20 and a family ticket for €80, available via musicforgalway.ie/event.
