Galway artists have been invited to make submissions for inclusion in an art fair that will take place in the city this August.
Connections Art Fair has asked professional contemporary artists to submit work for the Autumn Fair that will be held in the Radisson Blu Hotel, Galway on Saturday and Sunday, August 12 and 13.
Painters, printmakers, photographers, sculptors, ceramicists, illustrators, and other artists can visit www.connectionsartfair.com to secure a space at the fair.
Around 70 exhibition stands will display the work of local artists at the Inis Mór room of the hotel.
The event is being organised by Monivea-based Barna native, Paul Cluskey, who returned to college to complete studies in contemporary art.
He had worked in architecture, engineering, building surveying, store design and project management, and art was a pastime but he recently finished a fantastic placement in EMMA (Espoo Museum of Modern Art) in Helsinki.
“The aim of the fair is to connect the artist with the public, galleries and the art world in general,” said Mr Cluskey.
