Storm Brian: Flood and wind warning in Galway for Saturday

Council crews will be on standby in Galway on Saturday, with potential for flooding caused by Storm Brian.
A Status Orange Wind Warning is in place from 6am to 6pm, with gusts up to 130km/h expected.
Galway City Council said crews will be on standby, and high tide at 6am Saturday is the “critical time”.
Northwest winds will reach mean speeds of 65-80 km/h with gusts 110-130 km/h, as Storm Brian tracks eastwards across central and southern parts of Ireland.
