Newly elected GRETB chair to put special focus on helping jobseekers

Galway Bay fm newsroom – The new chairperson of the Galway Roscommon Education and Training Board says the organisation wants to help boost employment by upskilling jobseekers.
Loughrea area councillor Michael Moegie Maher has been elected as the new chair of the group, which works with 22 schools and 45 adult education centres across Galway.
The GRETB also provides a range of educational programmes and services to people across Galway and Roscommon.
Speaking to Galway Bay fm news, Councillor Maher says upskilling jobseekers is one of the group’s primary aims.
