Kenny Galway dealership goes into receivership

There’s shock across the motor industry in Galway today with the sudden closure of Kenny Galway car dealers on the Tuam Road, with the loss of around 25 jobs.
The 25-year-old firm, which is an agent for Kia, Peugeot, Citroen and Volvo, has gone into receivership.
Tribune motoring correspondent Gerry Murphy says the business is viable but its property loans were transferred to a vulture company.
He says the owner Brian Kenny has stated he will look after his customers where possible and is looking for a new premises.
